The University of Zurich (UZH) and Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) are developing interdisciplinary courses in the field of cybersecurity. This includes lectures at the bachelor’s, master’s and PhD levels, summer schools, a PhD network, and further education offerings such as CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) as well as courses for the public.

At  CYRENZH we conduct interdisciplinary research projects involving researchers from the University of Zurich, ZHAW and ETH Zurich in particular. We work together with companies and the public sector in the canton of Zurich.

Engaging Volounteers

Our vision is to establish an independent and non-combative organization that works – similar to the voluntary firefighter brigade (“Freiwillige Feuerwehr”) – in concerted efforts with (governmental) teams of cybersecurity experts.
