Launch of the Cybersecurity Clinic

We are pleased to announce the launch of the CYRENZH Cybersecurity Clinic!

In this clinic, students from ZHAW School of Engineering, ZHAW School of Management and Law and University of Zurich offer pro bono cybersecurity services to selected organizations such as SMEs, start-ups, municipalities, schools, non-profit organizations and associations. The services cover a broad spectrum of cybersecurity, from technical security aspects to security risk assessments and human factors.

With the clinic, we want to improve the cybersecurity situation, knowledge and awareness of these organizations, while at the same time deepening the education of the next generation of cybersecurity experts by applying the knowledge acquired in class to the real world.

The first five clinic projects were launched a few weeks ago: one with an SME, two with start-ups, and two with an agricultural center. The students working on these projects are supervised by faculty members and senior researchers of ZHAW. The projects are worked on during the current fall semester and will be completed by the end of the year. Requests for projects that will start early in 2025 can already be submitted. In case you are interested, don’t hesitate, and submit us your project request. You can use this link to find out more about eligible organizations and the services that are offered.
